Our files date back to 1950 with one of the oldest ships ‘Ranger’ built in 1880. Early photographs ( circa 1950-1970 ) are mainly Black and White, but fortunately wonderful colour pictures were also taken and are being made available with the process of transferring the pictures from our archives to the web site.

Our supplier of all these images is of course Fotoflite who fly almost every day, taking photographs of ships in the English channel, adding to our growing files which currently exceed 700,000 images.
